Ronald Hannes Barred During Conversion Investigation

Attorney Advising Disclaimer

FINRA barred former Woodbury Financial Services broker Ronald Walter Hannes in connection with its investigation into allegations that Hannes converted customer funds. In late January 2020, Hannes indicated he would not cooperate with FINRA's inquiry, leading to permanent banishment from the industry.

Woodbury terminated Ron Hannes (CRD #1462241)'s employment in December 2019 after a client alleged that funds paid to Hannes for the purpose of purchasing a life insurance contract were not forwarded to the life insurance company.

According to AWC #2019064915301, Hannes allegedly converted customer funds while associated with Woodbury and, according to Hannes' BrokerCheck file, a customer complaint filed in December 2019 was settled in February 2020 for $128,827.06.

BrokerCheck lists an additional Spokane, Washington business known as "Hannes Financial Services Inc," which, amongst other services, sells life insurance.

If you have invested with former Woodbury Financial Services representative Ronald Walter Hannes or with any broker or financial adviser who improperly converted funds or otherwise failed to invest your money as represented, resulting in damages or losses, please call an experienced FINRA arbitration attorney at The Law Offices of Jonathan W.
