Steven Kiyoto Hirata Barred After Investigation into Private Securities Transactions

Attorney Advising Disclaimer

FINRA barred PFS Investments broker Steven Kiyoto Hirata for participating in a private securities transaction without notifying the Fresno, California-based PFS Investments, which terminated Hirata's employment in September 2021 for the misconduct.

According to AWC #2021072592201, investigators opted to bar Steven Hirata (CRD #1188927) from the securities industry after he failed to cooperate with an investigation in which FINRA looked into the question of Hirata's potential undisclosed outside business activity.

Hirata's BrokerCheck report indicates that in addition to his employment with PFS Investments, Hirata also sold crop insurance to farmers and received compensation from Primerica Client Services for referrals of home security and automation products.

If you have invested with former PFS Investments representative Steven Kiyoto Hirata or with any broker or investment adviser who sold away from their firm or failed to make required disclosures, and this prohibited conduct has proven harmful to your investments or interests, please call an experienced FINRA arbitration attorney at The Law Offices of Jonathan W.
