Andrew Lewis Pittman Barred in Relation to Elder Financial Misconduct Allegation

Attorney Advising Disclaimer

FINRA barred former Allstate Financial Services, LLC, Questar Capital Corporation and Sammons Securities Company, LLC broker Andrew Lewis Pittman for failing to cooperate with an investigation into Pittman's alleged misappropriation of an elderly customer's funds.

FINRA Case #2011029315301

According to the findings, FINRA was investigating Pittman's improper use of an elderly customer's funds and appointment of Power of Attorney for that customer.

During the investigation, Pittman appeared before FINRA and informed them that he would not testify, consenting to the bar without admitting or denying the findings.

According to Pittman's BrokerCheck, in 2011, Pittman was party to an arbitration settlement for $155,000 after a customer alleged that Pittman sold unsuitable variable annuities in 2008. The settlement also included the alleged misappropriation of funds and exploitation of an elderly customer, which occurred while Pittman was employed by Allstate.
