Kajo Movsesian Barred After Review into Conduct Inconsistent with Merrill Lynch Standards

Attorney Advising Disclaimer

FINRA barred former Merrill Lynch broker Kajo Movsesian of the firm's Glendale, CA branch after he refused to cooperate with an investigation into his departure from Merrill Lynch for what the firm described as "conduct inconsistent with firm standards regarding personal bank accounts."

According to AWC #2018059922101, Merrill Lynch reported Movsesian (CRD #6762326)'s termination type as a voluntary resignation in September 2018, noting that the firm had initiated an internal review one month earlier for stockbroker Movsesian's purported conduct, though the report didn't specify precisely what that conduct was other than its deviation from Merrill Lynch standards.

When Movsesian refused to produce requested documents to FINRA in February 2019, the regulator barred him from the securities industry.

Files indicate Movsesian served as a financial advisor with Merrill Lynch and was a Life and Health Agent, having held licenses to act as both a broker and financial advisor.

Movsesian's BrokerCheck file indicates he presently works at Bank of America in Glendale, with a prior banking employment at Wells Fargo of Brentwood before he became a registered representative with Merrill Lynch in 2017.

If you have invested with former Merrill Lynch of Glendale broker Kajo Movsesian or with any financial adviser or registered representative whose conduct in contravention of firm policy—especially regarding potential misconduct in your personal accounts—has proven harmful to your investments or interests, please call an experienced FINRA arbitration attorney at The Law Offices of Jonathan W. Evans & Associates at (800) 699-1881 for an investigation and consultation.
