TCFG Wealth Broker David McDonnell Barred in Outside Business Activity Investigation

Attorney Advising Disclaimer

FINRA barred former TCFG Wealth Management (Laguna Beach, CA) broker David Robert McDonnell after investigating his termination from TCFG in December 2021 for participating in a private securities transaction by issuing promissory notes.

According to FINRA's AWC #2022073798801, David McDonnell (CRD #1757401) failed to provide requested documents to FINRA as the regulator investigated both the private securities transactions (sale of promissory notes)  as well as engaging in an outside business activity by serving as a trustee of a trust.

Dave McDonnell, who also is the owner of tax/accounting firm Y2 Consultants, was previously registered with National Planning Corporation, also of Laguna Beach in Southern California, from 2000 through 2016.

If you invested with a broker or investment adviser who issued promissory notes through an undisclosed outside business activity or private securities transaction conducted away from the firm, and such a prohibited transaction has proven harmful to your investments or interests, please call an experienced FINRA arbitration attorney at The Law Offices of Jonathan W. Evans & Associates at (800) 699-1881 for an investigation and consultation.
