Luciano Andres Battioli Barred for Conversion, Forgery and Falsification

Attorney Advising Disclaimer

FINRA barred former JP Morgan Securities LLC associate Luciano Andres Battioli of Huntington Beach, California after finding that he converted customer funds by forging bank withdrawal documents and subsequently using the falsified forms to effect withdrawals.

FINRA Case #2013039521501

According to the report, Battioli served JP Morgan as a registered representative trainee in 2013 while working as a personal banker at a JP Morgan affiliate bank located in Huntington Beach.

The findings state that on November 5, 2013, Battioli forged withdrawal documents for the accounts of two bank customers and used the ill-gotten funds to pay his father's credit card bill.

In December, JP Morgan reported Battioli's termination, noting that in addition to the aforementioned forgery misconduct, his employment with the bank also terminated because he allegedly used personal funds to open a bank account for an acquaintance not present at the time of the account's opening.
