Nicholas C. Kramer Barred for Misappropriating Funds by Using Fake Identity

Attorney Advising Disclaimer

FINRA barred former Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC broker Nicholas Charles Kramer for using a fake identity to misappropriate funds while he was registered with the firm's branch in Glendora, California.

FINRA AWC #2015044359201

According to the report, Kramer created and used a series of fictitious identities to open savings, checking and credit card accounts at Wells Fargo, taking out cash advances and transferring funds to linked accounts before withdrawing the cash and converting the funds for personal use.

Investigators alleged that Kramer misappropriated a total of $15,750 from the bank during the course of his scheme from July 2013 through October 2014.

Employment records indicate Wells Fargo Advisors discharged Kramer after the allegations surfaced in early 2015.

Kramer's BrokerCheck file also shows a previous customer complaint that alleged violations related to investment trust suitability. At the time of the dispute, Kramer worked at Wells Fargo Investments in Rancho Cucamonga, transferring to Glendora about one month after the dispute closed as a denial.
